Hi there,
I wanted to know is there a way to implement IP based Relay and Hosts based
relay at the same time ? in IMAIL 6.0
Also is there a way to disable smtp services on a select IP in IMAIL.. say
in case my machine has 2 ip's and i want SMTP to work only on one ?

I have tried to setup ETRN, but am still unsuccesful, I have some other
hosts, who use dial up to their ISPs' to get the mail and use this system,
they are not able to use Authentication on SMTP as some of the clients dont'
support it, also some customers can't change the settings as they are
I have an unrelated question, I have for the past few days seen a lot of
directories crop up in the server, (web - iis - nt4 / sp5) which have a lot
of compressed files in them, they usually have a directory called tagged
followed by a subdirectory called by and something..
so if you reach the
network when it was
down, I haven't recvd a non confirmation, that means it is in the queue, but
the user after his machine came up, and also executed ETRN, hasn't got this
mail.
Can someone explain what is happening, the remote system runs ms exchnage.

Gagandeep
