We tried to institute it a couple of weeks back. It
appears that the Spammers have learned to setup their DNS correctly. We
got more reverse DNS failures on legitimate mail than we did with spam. We
are finding the same holds true for SPF as well.

Title: OT ClamAV help needed
The CPU on our mail server is max'd out at 100%. The main process that is using cycles is two instances of Clamscan.exe. When I try to end the process, I get a access denied message. How can I recover from this or do I need to reboot the machine?

under another account, or granting the user those rights. The former is

I am getting the same thing through my IMail server but not
through my exchange server. The messages I get have a header and they all
appear to be coming from known spam sources. I have not been

What I do not understand is that I have our IMail

servers thus reducing cable clutter. To access the servers, you can
setup a web based interface that only requires port 80, or have client
software on your machine. The DSR also has a local client port so that

The Spool directory is excluded in any virus scanning on the IMail
Server. I will check the log though. What I find interesting is that
all that is mentioned in the received from is Trident. We do not have a
machine by this name. When I do a reverse lookup on the IP of the

Yes it is SRSPLUS. I have been using it for about three

You are not the only one. I have tried on numerous occasions to
unsubscribe. Ipswitch tells me that my address was not on any list. If
I tried to post to the list it would say that my email address was not
allowed to post any messages since I am not subscribed.
