Are you referring to Google's GMail?? It appears to me that
comparing
Gmail to Declude is apples and oranges. We get a fair
amount of junk

Does it work as good as Gmail-- which is awesome- it puts ALL the spam
where it belongs with no mistakes-

Why would access be locked-
Both dbs on 2 separate ip addresses are locked with a dbname.lbd
This either prevents POP acccess -- or web access including ADMIN
I rebooted once- and was able to get pop access back--but the web access
was now blocked-
I have lastest imail version, and
I reinstalled latest version- and the DB still lock-
Imail is locking them- when I shut down the services- the DBs open up
Ideas please

Hi-- basically-- this is it-- one block of it--

BOCKI-YMZ85PJ0L.awr3b9ec.org 01:20 07:52
It sure looks like 85.182.50.86 is at least attempting to
push a bunch of traffic through your server. Are you logging
all services to the syslog server?
yes
Maybe it is showing up in
more than one place, like the SMTP and spam logs.
That's it-I think since I limit to 2 emails
We are set to no relay and our ip address is 209.208.92.70
Whats going on w/ ip 85.182.50.86 ?
It's a machine sending you spam over multiple
connections, with multiple impersonated HELOs;
alternately, it could be a variety of zombies behind a NAT
firewall being
attempts a day to send mail to nonexistent
email recipients, relay mail through our servers, and
otherwise abuse our system. It's just a fact of life.

The mail will not send from outlook.
Microsoft website says:
CAUSE
This problem occurs when your mail server requires both Secure Sockets Layer
security (SSL) and Secure Password Authentication (SPA).
I don't require either, AND it only happens on ONE account.

Your statement as stated
Well, first Imail needs to hand the message to Declude. It
does not even do that.
So now we can drink a beer anyway b/c we agree that Imail needs to get
that IP address for the webmail users- then Declude can do its job.
We might have to drink a few though til Imail gets it-- b/c I
is there anyway to block webmail users from sending spam?
As of now declude hijack does not have that function for webmail-- only mail
