Will smtp auth work for shared-ip-address Virtual Hosts using an external
database in 7.02?
I just ran across this

which worries me since this is what I will be requiring for customers who
are not on my IP blocks.

Yes. Our independant tests and working with Ipswitch got this fixed in 7.02.
It's broken in 7.0 and 7.01.
