I've
noticed this can sometimes happen if you have virus scanning enabled and a user
has previously sent out a message (or messages) with large attachments. It
usually goes away in a fewminutes.

check your logs for a dictionary attack or if you are being hijacked.
your spool folder is probly filled with alot of messages that are taking a
long time to process.

I have Imail servers 8.12 don t feel like upgrading with everything going
