Hi,
I am wondering, is that possible to set/delete ACL in a recursive way?
Specifically, I need to remove a user from accessing to a folder and
all of its subfolders, from top to bottom.
Probably I can spend a whole day do achieve this by manually delete his
rights for every mailboxes, but it is

Hi,
I cloned a production server (zfs + lxc) to test the xapian search and
started to squatter.
What I am experiencing is a very slow progress, especially comparing to
the search_engine:squat.
Besides of the very slow indexing, the whole cyrus seems slowed down
for the user, which is under
Thank you Ivan,
You are the winner :)
Users are happy in the last 1 hour, so, I assume the maxchild did the
trick.
The old server has no this kind of limit, so, never had this issue.
Now we have 118 connections, 140 processes, which a little bit higher
than the limit, so, that explains the

We will see, soon.

Hi,
Is that possible, the cyrus imap cannot be reached sometimes, due to
some bugs?

Hi,
I have a folder, where I have 163000+ emails.
Is it a lot or not?
We use zfs dataset as underlying filesystem (not optimal raidz2 with 6
SSDs).
cyrus-imapd 3.6-betaX
Thank you!

Hi,
We use the cyrus version 3.6.0-beta3-1+b1 and I found an issue with
squatter.
In some accounts there are a folder, where the squatter dies with fatal
error and the whole squatter process cannot move on.
I mean, there are about 40 accounts, called a to v

Hi,
We started using cyrus 3.6.0- beta after migrating from 2.4.whatever,
using imapsync from old to new server.
I found that, the squatter seems working, but seems it showed false
emails besides of valid results.
I mean, I search a single string and I got a list with result emails in
TB/Horde,
how users happy with this.

Hi,
We run our own email server in-house for more than a decade now,
started with ClearOS 5.2, it's about 1.2TByte email.
Nowadays we will migrate to higher version of ClearOS with separate
cyrus 3.6.x imap, our tests seems fine with 3.6 (squatter works fine)
etc.
But.
We also try to find a

Hi,
I have a live debian bookworm amd64 server with cyrus 3.4.2 on it.
I hit the squat problem, too, as others reported on github/this list.
So, AFAIK the 3.4.3 will not solve the issue with squat, but does
anybody know deb packages for cyrus 3.4.3-4 for bookworm?
I can see 3.6.0-beta2-2 but I

Hi,
Sorry for the lame question, shame on me.
Currently I use 3.2.6 on debian testing as a pre-production server, but
I am interesting about upgrading to 3.4.x
In the past I built cyrus from source, so, it could work, but if there
any repository already provides cyrus 3.4 prebuilt packages is

Hi,
I just started to test the new 3.2.x series cyrus in debian testing and
in general I find it very impressive.
I just found that, the webdav does not support creating folder using
utf-8 characters in its name, like "Névtelen mappa" or similar.
Also, I found it a little bit strange how Caja
