I "recently" upgraded to cyrus-imap version 3.8.1.
Which version were you using previously?This
has been running correctly, but now that I want to update a global
sievescript (for a shared mailbox), I find that I can not login
using the user I got
TLS negotiation failed". Setting "tls_session_timeout: 0" solves the problem. "A
value of 0 will disable session caching".As far as I see, Thunderbird 91 is not affected, 115 is
affected. Cyrus IMAP 3.6.1 in Debian Stable.
I'm using Thunderbird 115 and

Hi, I'm a newbie and I've inherited a pretty old cyrus system, and either I or
a user has deleted a shared mailbox and I need to try to recover without,
ideally, involving our clunky tape backup system.
our version:
name : Cyrus IMAPD
version : 2.5.13-37-ga30c191aa-Kolab-2.5.17.34-2.2
h Thunderbird is a good option. Disclaimer: http://www2.peralex.com/disclaimer.html

/var/imap/log/username
Oh, brilliant, thanks!
I'm not sure how to figure out what the equivalent for my install
is. `/var/imap` isn't part of my install at all. I did see
`/var/lib/cyrus/log` and stuck a `phil` directory in there,
restarted, refreshed
somebody else with the same problem. But be careful! It
worked for me but it's otherwise untested.

Hi,
i use my-tables in postfix:
virtual_mailbox_domains = mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql_virtual_mailbox_domains.cf
virtual_alias_maps = mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql_virtual_alias_maps.cf
virtual_mailbox_maps = mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql_virtual_mailbox_maps.cf

Hi,
I was surprised too, but in a different way: I have the same values. I probably
found the debian 9 standard in my archive, which was also a template for me:
.../src/debian/cyrus-imapd/cyrus-imapd_2.5.10-3.debian/debian/cyrus.conf
. Thanks for your assistance.Disclaimer: http://www2.peralex.com/disclaimer.html

that before, but I assumed, for
some reason, that it only worked with the TLS certificate settings.
I put together some config files that use @include, but I'll try the
prefix thing for sasl_mech_list.

I had the same problem and was able to help myself indirectly (I somehow
couldn't import directly into personal?!):
Import one or more preconverted ;-) VCF files version 3.0, then move
from "personal address book" to "personal" (the CardDAV connection to
Cyrus), voila.
Dear Ellie,
I was wondering if by any chance you have developped a tool that might help
recover/import mailboxes and their subfolders creating before 2015 to the new
cyrus 3.6. I still don't have access to any mails/addressbook/calendar since I
have contacted this list in March and it doesn't
than 10 years of mails).
They also did a patch.
Do you think it would be possible to add it to reconstruct or relocate_by_id in
order to create a clean mailbox.db?
Regards.

I checked the user mbpath

Dear Andy,
I'm waiting that the package is making its way do debian/bookworm, then I will
try to relocate_by_id my subfolder to the uuid of my user.
I'm watching closely what your are doing.
I have already question:

Hello,
Using debian bookworm, the cyrus-imapd was updated from 3.4.3 to 3.6.0~beta2-1
this Friday. There was no warning about any migration or post check to perform
before applying the updated packages.
The update procedure didn't went well but I didn't realized it.

Dear Cyrus folks,
For an evaluation of the IT group, we need statistics. Does Cyrus offer some
statistics, on the number and sizes of inboxes and users, average message
sizes, transfer, …? Or do you know of scripts scraping the file system and log
files?
I am doubtful such statistics would
Have others found similar issues regarding outlook + cyrus (or any

Most of my Outlook issues aren't IMAP-specific, but sometimes Outlook:

Well, after configuring postfix, you tried to send mail but did you also

Hello
Been using cyrus for about 19 years now mainly on my personal server. I haven't
paid too much attention to it over the years since the 1.x to 2.x
upgrade(painful), it basically just did it's thing. My needs aren't great at
all.
Currently running Cyrus 3.0.8 on Devuan 3.1.
