Sean Owen resolved SPARK-17172. ------------------------------- Resolution: Duplicate That sounds like exactly the same issue. You're missing /tmp or can't see it because of permissions issue. Both sound like an environment problem, because this dir exists and is world-writable after setting up any HDFS namenode.
