GCE will implement an open architecture with links to key settlement, cash, pricing and reference applications, to provide true integration across all Collateral Products. The technology environment integrates more than 20 open source tools - including Spring, Hibernate, Maven and Hudson - into a productivity engine that spans from individual class writing and unit testing to production deployment and monitoring. * * *Required Skills:* *Essential:* • College degree (Computer Science preferred) or equivalent work experience • Minimum 6 years of Application Development work experience • Deep knowledge of Java programming language • Object Oriented software design • Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills • Open Source technologies in particular *Spring, Hibernate* and *Maven* • Competent *SQL* developer *Soft Skills* • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team • Comfortable with agile development practices such as pair programming • Skilled at giving and receiving feedback * * *Nice to have Skills:* • Experience with Agile development methodology, such as Scrum or XP • Experience with Test Driven Development.
