I tried Example Chap0601.java. in the generated pdf file (Chap0601.pdf), I
am able to see images with wmf, gif and jpeg and png image didn't display.
I use NetBeans IDE 3.6 with j2re1.4.1_02. Is this a bug or I missed
something?

All the png types are supported. You may have an image too big for the page.
Scale it down and it should appear.
