That's ok.
After configuring the file I did this :
# ivtvctl -u 0xff
# ivtvctl -p 1
# ivtvctl -f
I recently upgraded my kernel to FC6 2.6.22.14-72 (from an older FC6). Altough
ivtv was running before, I've been chasing a sound bug so I upgraded.
Now...ivtv isn't loading anymore. Modprobing gives me: FATAL: Module ivtv not
found.
I have reinstalled the ivtv packages for my kernel and yum

This is a very old kernel for ivtv. If you can upgrade to at least
kernel 2.6.18 with ivtv 0.10.x, or even better kernel 2.6.23 with ivtv
from mainline

Are the DMA fixes (0.10.6) in the 2.6.23 kernel? I thought that they

This is correct, the fixes will be in the *upcoming* 2.6.24 kernel.

Ivtv is part of mainline kernel in 2.6.22. so it should come with the

Good clue - I changed by kernel options (per the ivtv site) and it now

After a recent upgrade to the latest ivtv (along with kernel upgrade), I
lost my /dev/dvb devices.
What driver should I be looking for (to modprobe) for a Nexus-S ?

The new module package is for the new kernel package. If you want to
use the updated module, you probably have to boot to the new kernel.
The FC6 kernel that I'm using (2.6.22.14-72.fc6) apparently already
comes with the ivtv.ko (the 1.0.x version, not the 0.10.x version) as
part of the kernel
