I have a problem connecting to Jbase agent.
I'm launching the agent on the port 25001 on T24 server:

nohup jbase_agent -p25001
*
and I ty to connect from distant client .
Telnet 10.xx.x.50
The connection is done then immediatly, it's disconnected (when receiving
the first character).

you aren't able to connect to jbase agent using Telnet. Temenos has a
special protocol for that.
See jremote manual (you can use java and c# for client connections).

The permissions on /data/jspool/jobs and everything within are set at 777.
Do I need to look at permissions someplace else?

It's got nothing to do with jBASE; 'lpr' is a Linux command.
You might want to check (open up) permissions on the '/tmp' directory.
Try running that same command as 'root'. If it still fails then it is
probably not permissions.
