Hello,
I need help to make Hibernate Tools work for an EJB project (a Seam EJB module).
I did not create the project with any wizard, so I went to Hibernate
Configurations View and added a Configuration.
The Configuration and Database nodes seen to work fine: I can see the entities
and data
Akazakov, it did not work.
I had to create a new project, with the right folders, and copy the files of
the old to the new one.

Hello,
I have an EAR Seam Project on Jboss Tools 2.1.1 G.A. Today I needed to change
the source folder of the ejb project from /SeamProt-ejb/ejbModule to
/SeamProt-ejb/src/main/java.
I created the new source folder, moved the contents of /ejbModule to the new
location and finally updated the

I think I will try G.A. again.
I am using eclipse 3.3.1 with wtp 2.0.1

I just tried nightly build 200806161806 (could not get 2.1.1 GA to work) but
the wizard to create a new Seam project is broken. When I click File-New-Seam
Web Project, nothing happens and in the log I have

What is the best way to create a Seam project to be deployed on Jboss 4.0.5? On
the Seam project wizard, if I choose a Jboss 4.0 Target Runtime, Seam does not
appear as one of the facets to be chosen.
When I choose a Jboss 4.2 Target Runtime, the Seam Facet appears, but after I
finish
Using eclipse wtp I think you only have to start the server in debug mode. At
least it works for me.

When I create a new Seam project, choosing Jboss 4.2 as the target runtime, why
does the web.xml file created have myfaces as the JSF implementation? Should
not it be the Sun RI one?

I had this problem too and I had to use:
((EntityManagerImpl) manager.getDelegate()).getSession()
But it was an ejb3 project, not a Seam one. Are you packaging
jboss-ejb3-all.jar that comes with Seam in your application?

I upgraded JBoss AS to the 4.2.0 version and the stack trace has changed to:

I just implemented my first Seam conversation and now I want it to use a
Seam-managed persistence context.
I have SFSBs accessing SLSBs DAOs. Reading the posts I could see two ways of
doing this:
1. Implement my DAOs as Stateful Seam components.
2. Declare the EM not only in DAOs, but also
I decided to try it out on an existing project.
I removed all my dependencies and added jboss.seam.profiles:seam-facelets one.
Maven downloaded a lot of jars, but it seems that there is not, among them, a
(transitive) dependency for javax.ejb package.

On conventional JEE applications, there was an explanation on why to separate
your applications on ejb modules and web modules and package the whole thing on
an ear file. The purpose, I think, was to build ejb modules that were
independent from the client code.

Hello,
I´m having trouble running the Registration example. The application seems to
be deployed ok but when I submit the form, I´m getting Conversion Error 3
times. I am using maven to package the example on a ear.
Here is the Jboss log:
