No other browser I have (chromium, vivaldi, firefox) has this problem.
okular (both text and PDF files) hasn't got this problem.
kate hasn't got this problen.

Window button can be removed and shortcuts redefined.

Maybe I am wrong, but the "Close" button should stay there.
It simply should never get focus automatically: the user is the only one who
knows whether the task is over or not.
And she/he can communicate this by
