I also have the same problem, but not only with contextual menu. it appear on
Gwenview witht the normal menu. and I noticed that the "dark" color is going
lighter every time the menu is opened (see

and it seems the GTK3 preview is not working too.
whatever theme I choose. the preview is always the same
