I read on a forum that not having enough "swap space" could cause these issues,
but I have 32 GB of ram and 40 GB of "swap space", so I don't think that that
is the issue here!

I have documented that Sleep causes the issue, but I just tried Hybernate and
it does not work either. Hybernate puts the computer to sleep and there is no
way to turn it back on.

I didn't even realise Ctrl+Tab wasn't the default shortcuts for switching tabs.
