Yes this behavior is known.
You can try the nightly build
(https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_mingw64/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/)
where multitrack audio is implemented. You can select the audio track in clip
properties on the new tab audio and insert them into the timeline. This feature
will come with 20.08.
