Doesn't work on my end. I already wasn't using any animations so I turned Fade
on and off again, disabled asking the window manager to animate the window and
it still happens.

I noticed something else:
The split selection remains correct if I leafe yakuake with Alt+Tab for another
window, but it will be wrong if I use the hotkey.

Yes, all 3 are 64-bit.
The desktop uses an E3-1245 v3, the old laptop is an t400.
The new laptop with the problems is a t460s.
I noticed something odd:
1. open yakuake
2. split the terminal
