            Bug ID: 483798
Summary: kdeconnect-sms doesn't detect URLs in messages
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdeconnect
           Version: 24.02.0
          Platform: openSUSE
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: messaging-application
          Assignee: si...@ergotech.com
          Reporter: john....@pelago.org.uk
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
SMS messages I receive often contain URLs. SMS apps on Android generally
recognise these and allow them to be clickable, but KDE Connect SMS does not.
It would aid usability if it could.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Receive an SMS message on your mobile that contains a URL
2. Run KDE Connect SMS (kdeconnect-sms)
3. Read the message and hover the mouse over the URL

OBSERVED RESULT
The URL is just normal text, not clickable.

EXPECTED RESULT
The URL is clickable.
