v3.13.0-7 was the only kernel version I've had, and had hibernation
problems since I installed my OS. I'll try and see if I can get a couple
screenshots of the panic by tomorrow night then try resuming from
hibernate with the v4.0-rc7 kernel.

Title:
no console when starting VM from
Fwiw, 4.0-rc1 shows the device but no audio, and the device is gone
after a S3 cycle. Not even 4.0-rc7 gives audio through hdmi though the
S3 issue is fixed.
