This bug is not limited to just Kubuntu. I am chiming in as a Xubuntu
20.04.2 user. The driver I attempt to install from Driver Manager is
340.108. The results are identical to what is being reported here. And
this bug affects ALL of my machines running v20.04. My Asus laptop with
hybrid Nvidia
Hey Chris, of course.
I plugged in the USB Dongle CSR 4.0, attempted to scan my BT device,
unfortunately my usb device was not recognized. I also wanted to use
Wireshark with this dongle, but it was not detected as well.
I am able to use this device on Ubuntu 18.04 and scan my BT devices.

This is now working again for me as of Linux-Firmware 1.157.20 and
kernel 4.4.0.130.136 received today.

Not sure if this is the same problem. Everything was working perfectly
until the massive update that came out last night. Now cannot find
internal Atheros BT adapter in Blueman-applet. It appears to allow me to
enable BT. Lights on but no one home. Linux firmware looks borked.

I had this problem as well, starting with the welcome screens during the
install. I believe it is something wrong in the Xorg video driver. My
video card is a Maxwell based nVidia GTX 750 Ti. Despite the menus being
almost completely illegible, I was able to navigate to the Settings
Manager /
