I have the same problem with my computer HP 17-cn2119 under Kubuntu 22.04. I
tried also Kubuntu 23.04 and 23.10, same problem. I also tested openSuse 15.5
ans there was the same issue.
Screen and HDMI cable worked with the previous computer, and work actually on
Windows 11 (dualboot).
Can you boot completely with 'nomodeset'?

sched-ext is a new scheduling class introduced in the Linux kernel that
provides a mechanism to implement scheduling policies as eBPF programs
(https://lwn.net/Articles/922405/). Such programs can also be connected
to user-space counterparts to defer scheduling
A bit surprised that this isn't treated with more urgency. We're on an
LTS ubuntu and we get broken updates, basically.
Though so far I can't see it having a major impact in my case (can still
use zfs and updating other packages seems to work)

I have the same problem than

with my computer HP 17-cn2119 under Kubuntu 22.04. I tried also Kubuntu 23.04
and 23.10, xorg and wayland, same problem. I also tested openSuse 15.5 and
there was the same issue.
The same with an Acer Predator SSD GM7 M.2 4TB I think the error is in
the MaxIO MAP1602A controller and not in the brand.

Great, so the fix works as intended. 5.15.0-91-generic should be
released to -updates this week hopefully.
I don't think the CPC team builds any cloud images with -proposed
enabled. I asked around, and I'll let you know if there does happen to
be some images built.
