Hie, I have the same problem with my computer HP 17-cn2119 under Kubuntu 22.04. I tried also Kubuntu 23.04 and 23.10, same problem. I also tested openSuse 15.5 ans there was the same issue. Screen and HDMI cable worked with the previous computer, and work actually on Windows 11 (dualboot).
