I know that it is a closed source driver and to be honest with you, this
is the only place where I see this bug being reported. But I really
don't know where else to report it other than the ones that are
currently working on this driver (which again, idk of to contact them)

This bug is not in Ubuntu, but in the Broadcom driver, which AFAIK has
not had a new release since 2015. This is a closed-source driver so they
are the only ones who could fix it.

2024 and this bug is still around. The card is unable to pick up a wifi
that has a channel higher than 48. What could be done in order to have
this bug fixed ? Anything I can help with, like providing tests idk

Same problem with an ASUS PCE-AC68 (chipset BCM4360 [14e4:43a0] (rev 03)) on
Kubuntu 20.04. I can not connect to my 5Ghz network.
If I type I get this output:
iwlist wlp9s0 freq
wlp9s032 channels in total; available frequencies :
Channel 01 : 2.412 GHz
Channel 02 : 2.417

Title:
Card with chipset BCM4360 [14e4:43a0] (rev 03)
An issue even in March 2020. I tried Ubuntu 18.04, and Ubuntu 19.10.
I'm on a Macbook Pro.
If I switch to channel 40, 44, 48 works.
But if I move to channel 149, 153, 157, etc. it stops getting detected.
And as you may understand, the speed that I get on channel 40/44/48 is
quite slower compared
I have encountered this issue on Ubuntu 18.04 and now again on 19.10.

This is still very much a valid issue as of bcmwl-kernel-source

Is there any news/known workaround?

Hi again. I'm sorry to say that I remembered wrong :( . I would swear to
have seen the DFS channels when running the command "nmcli device wifi
list" with the PCE-AC68, but I'm being unable to reproduce that
situation again. Neither with Debian 9 nor Windows 10. So I guess that I

Which channel did you use exactly?
After reboot, how long does it take to find the channel again?

I've an ASUS PCE-AC68 card and, years ago, I gave up configuring it with
DFS channels. Apparently, it wasn't able to see them. I even thought
that they were forbidden in my country...
Months ago, while I was doing some bandwidth tests, I decided to try
again. I switched the channel to a DFS one
