I also suggest _not_ to use the ppa since that code is experimental
and never worked well.
Another solution, that I must admit it worked, is using the Windows
version with Wine, though the script version is much more updated.

*browse button
*validate button
are not translated.

my 2 euro cents...
Moreover, avoiding those dialog box layout tools, many actually
unused but very useful, gettext commands/macros/features will become
available to programmers, easing a lot the translators efforts...
