Job Description: This is a Web Development / Design position within the SAP Enterprise Portal where the candidate will be working) to deliver portal solutions for a .com project. Project Summary: The site has been implemented on SAP's Netweaver Enterprise Portal. This site on Internet / External Facing portal has replaced disparate, static sites into ONE SAP Netweaver Portal platform and interface. There will be several xHTML / JavaScript / CSS templates and pages that need to be built to augment the existing platform. In addition, there will be several images and graphics that need to be created and edited within Adobe Photoshop. First Preference: We need resources that are well versed in the standard web technologies such as xHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and Photoshop. The candidate should have experience and be able to site examples where a design / development balance was used to implement a solution. The candidate should have several web development and design implementations under their belt. The candidate should have experience in designing and developing solutions for different browsers, and should be familiar with trouble shooting techniques to reach an expectable look and feel within the SAP Netweaver Enterprise Portal. The candidate must have strong knowledge of the SAP Netweaver Portal Content Directory (PCD) and Knowledge Management (KM) portal components as well content objects such as iviews, pages, worksets and roles . In all, the candidate needs to be well versed in the principles and implementation of Usability and User Experience designs. The candidate should be able to consult on best practices around Usability / User Experience, produce mockups and wireframes, transform the mockups and wireframes into clickable prototypes, then ultimately develop the prototypes into a full implemented project. The candidate should be well versed in the requirements gathering process and / or the blueprint process. To start, the candidate will work with the business to identify content on the intranet/internet, which must be redesigned according to templates and redeveloped within the SAP Netweaver Enterprise Portal. The candidate should be able to clearly communicate and depict solutions, as they will be implemented in the SAP Netweaver Enterprise Portal. Please Note: We are looking for candidates who possess the above skill sets. We need the selected candidates to begin work immediately given a minimal amount of up front direction, and they need to be able to work efficiently and independently moving forward through the life of the project. The candidate will also need to work in a team setting at times with the Business and IS Community.
