The Sr. IS Architect has the dual role of ensuring architectural integrity and compliance, while at the same time working with Operations to continuously improve availability, serviceability and efficiency of our Managed Services infrastructure. *Primary Responsibilities:* · Define deployment architecture for application and infrastructure projects, working with multiple Service Delivery teams. · Work with technical leads on Service Delivery teams to communicate technical designs and resolve implementation details for all network, server, storage and software components. · Work with technical leads on Service Delivery teams to update operational procedures and resolve all issues pertaining to operational readiness. · Ensure architectural integrity and compliance with Managed Services infrastructure standards. · Work with Operations to drive continuous improvement in availability, serviceability and efficiency. · Perform technical risk assessments and develop contingency plans to insure situational requirements of change control. · Recommend changes to resource utilization to improve efficiency. · Identify cost-effective opportunities for technology refresh Position Title: Sr. IT Architect Engineering design of infrastructure and server hosting environments including: · *Intel Server Frames* o ESX o Windows Server 2003 o Windows Server 2008 · *Unix Server Frames * o IBM-AIX - VLPARS o Sun Solaris – Sun Zones o Linux - Red Hat · *Networking * o Firewall Rules - Checkpoint o F5 Content Switch (Load Balancing) · *Web application containers: * o IIS o IHS/WAS · *Storage * o SAN o NAS · *DB * o MS SQL o Oracle o DB2 - Ability to communicate effectively across multiple delivery teams - Apply Managed Services standards compliance - Initiating eOrders to internal downstream delivery teams with appropriate specifications per design *Please furnish below information:* Candidates Full Name: Current Location: Willing to Relocate (If required): Face to Face Interview (If required): Contact Number: Alternative Contact Number: Email Id: Specialized skills: Total Experience: __ Yrs __ Months.
