These business applications may be transactional or analytical in nature. Individuals holding this position may be assigned to project teams, work independently, or may lead others on a project team, as assigned. The focus of this position is on the Team Assessment application and the maintenance and enhancement of this system. Utilizing various tools, the chosen contractor will work with our Enterprise Data Warehouse team and the Team Assessment application team and our DBAs to provide data to the Team Assessment data mart. Incumbents must have a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs, and collaborate with business staff, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to evaluate defined complex business requirements and processes, assess available technologies, determine infrastructure and recommend solution options. Incumbents design and build application solutions which may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. *Specific Responsibilities include:* · Designs and builds state of the art business applications and prepare technical specifications based on evaluation of business specifications for complex business requirements. Defines and designs reusable components as appropriate. Adheres to company's architectural principles and standards for software development, data, and security. · Analyzes impact of requirements outlined by Business Analysts and works as project architect on functional and technical solutions. Must consider usability and build for performance during all phases of development. · Implements interface and component-based infrastructure designs and software to ensure coherence across applications. Coaches other application development staff in understanding the infrastructure design. · Ensures that technologies used align with enterprise-wide technical architecture and ensure consistency across projects. · Tests application and works with other team members in the testing and debugging of programs; participates in overall system and performance testing; supports implementation of application into production and post-production. · Provides detailed, high quality documentation at appropriate level to allow for maintenance and extension of application. Provides input for estimates and timeframes during all project life cycle phases. *Experience* · 5+ years of in-depth experience in object oriented business application design and development in a complex client server environment. *Technical Knowledge* · Structured and object oriented design, development and implementation of business applications in current computing architectures. · Systems Development Life Cycle as pertains to software development projects · Working knowledge of relevant technologies, tools, and middleware, including development technologies and scripting languages (e.g. VB, VB.Net, ASP, ASP.Net, MSMQ, Biztalk, Oracle, SQL Server, stored procedures, HTML/XML/XSL, COM, DCOM, ODBC, ADO, etc.) · WCF experience to create Hosting services for application running under IIS 6.0. · Experience in Object oriented programming · Knowledge of Sql Server Reporting Services · Knowledge of Windows Work Flow · ASP.NET programming with AJAX · Experience with Oracle. · Experience with Dundas Chart for .NET - OLAP Services & Dashboard. *Technical Skills* · 3+yr of Experience in programming with WCF and VB.Net or C#. · 5+yrs of Experience with ASP.NET 2.0/3.0 and above. · 3+yrs of Expertise in Crystal Report 8.5 and above · 5+yrs of Expertise in SQL Server 2000/2005 with experience in SSIS. · 1-3yrs of Experience working with Oracle. · Analytical and problem solving skills *Soft Skills* · Strong interpersonal skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to translate technical concepts as appropriate to the level of the audience. · Taking the lead from the Development Lead for Team Assessment, must have the ability to work self-directed and as part of a team on projects of varying size; must work well on cross-functional project teams and show commitment to tasks, project, and to team. *Education* · Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training with a non-related Bachelor degree. *Please furnish below information:* Candidates Full Name : Current Location : Willing to Relocate (If required) : Face to Face Interview (If required) : Contact Number : Alternative Contact Number> : Email Id : Specialized skills : Total Experience : __ Yrs __ Months.
