The Senior Information Analyst provides assistance to the Information Manager and client team in resolving complex requests, implementing process improvements, developing “best approach” methodologies, and assisting other Analysts with their project assignments. The position is looking for an individual who is extremely detail oriented. The individual should have the ability to go on fact finding missions with little or no supervision. *Responsibilities: * - Interprets and executes project alerts for complex ad-hoc requests. Applies business logic and asks appropriate questions if clarity is not apparent. Documents and ensures smooth hand-off/project transition to other team members. - Takes responsibility for the accuracy and quality of the work performed and takes ownership of all assigned projects. - Develops/Maintains “best-approach” standard solutions for set-up and execution of ETL steps to cleanse, manipulate, and standardize data for database updates. - Verification of results used for project deliverables. - Performs quality assurance activities to verify results of project deliverables assigned to other team members. - Designs work flow for each project and documents all project phases. - Provides back-up support for the Information Manager and other team members. - Identifies areas for process improvement, recommends solutions, and assists with solution implementation. - Creates and maintains standard program reports, distributes appropriately, and provides ongoing support to the end-user. - Contributes to the project estimation process. - Comprehensive understanding of appropriate tools to develop and execute custom solutions as required meeting project objectives. - Maintains appropriate timing and communication within the team and across various department teams (i.e. internal and external clients) through verbal and written communication. - Ability to multi task project execution and prioritize accordingly there by ensuring project deadlines are met and deliverables are completed in a timely fashion. *Qualifications: * - College degree with a blend of business, analytics, and technical acumen required and/or relevant work experience. - Direct (all-line) marketing experience (client or agency side) preferred. - *RDBMS* experience required. - *Unica *experience required. - Strong *SQL and/or PL/SQL* experience required. - Strong analytical skills required. - *Business Intelligence knowledge required* (*Business Objects* or * Cognos*, etc.). - Experience with consumer level data for the purposes of analysis, reporting, and/or marketing a plus. - *4 – 5 Years of ETL* (Extract, Transform, Load) skills required (* Informatica*). - Data Hygiene experience required (address standardization, merge/purge a plus) - Strong knowledge of various data file formats required.
