Chesterbrook, PA Immediate need Rate is open Phone first, then in person 3 -6 months+ Position Description Summary: Under the direction of the Director, Solutions Architecture, this role is accountable for architecting and designing comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements on high-impact projects. Partners with key roles (e.g. process and business team members, outside services, industry groups) to create well-defined solutions that are aligned to ABC's Business and Technical Strategy and leverage common solutions and services to meet key project goals. Specifically, this role includes support of the "Electronic Data Interchange. As such, the role requires in depth knowledge of standard trade procurement and accounts payable accounting practices and procedures in an SAP and WTX environment. This role is accountable for ensuring the delivery of technology solutions that effectively meet evolving business and IT requirements. This is a cross functional position that requires insight into multiple business and technology domains. As such, the candidate must be a strong leader and demonstrate the ability to build collaboration and support across the enterprise. This role must effectively blend a core foundation rooted in technology and methodology with a broad understanding of the company's business objectives and future direction. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Manages the design of Business System components with a focus on these key areas: * IBM WTX * Axway Cyclone Interchange * WTX/SAP ALE * EDI Business Partner Profile * Industry Specific EDI Transactional Mapping * Ensures design, development and delivery of solutions across technical towers meet business requirements defined by process and functional teams * Researches software and hardware products or services, and finds best solutions to meet business requirements * Responsible for development of strategic guidance and works with business and system stakeholders to define a long-term roadmap * Optimizes the technology solution for efficiency, stability, and increased performance * Works with all departments within the organization to assist in the improvement of business processes, testing systems to ensure functionality is satisfactory and recommending new systems or product upgrades * Reviews and provides guidance on recommended changes required throughout the design process to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily. * Assesses change requests to determine impact and recommended course of action * Performs related duties as assigned * Minimum Experience and Education Requirements: A minimum of a B.S. degree in Computer Science or the equivalent is required, and an advanced degree is preferred; must possess at least ten (10) years of IT experience in a business aligned position and at least five (5) years in a leadership role. Prior experience with IBM WTX and SAP. Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements: 1. Must have exceptional organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, history of strong leadership, and ability to motivate teams in achieving shared objectives 5. Ability to resolve interpersonal and interdepartmental conflicts, coordinate solutions to critical problems, and ensure completion of planned deliverables 6.
