previously ktorrent package has not been updated to a new version yet,
the problem probably came from some other package

When i close konqueror with the textbar hidden and i open again
konqueror, the texbar is visible.
This change appeared 24 avril 2007 after the software update:
konqueror 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu20.1 - 4:3.5.6-0ubuntu20.2

presentation graphics, etc.
KOffice and OpenOffice use different labels. e.g.
