Yes, - in answer to Alice - there were bobbins hanging from the pillow, and
the lacemaker was toying with them as she stood there, - but not making any
lace, I don't think!

Pleased to see the presence of lace for Sochi 2014. The Vologda region is
represented in designs of the Sochi Olympic Patchwork Quilt fabric.
The individual escorts for each nation in the parade of nations at the
opening ceremony were wearing elegant head-gear with a lace effect.
