Thank you so much for telling us about yourself and your lace. It is good to
hear from you, and amazing that you have kept quiet for so long on this

Thank you very much to Sue Babbs for her email. I was struggling with
printing the image of Kuda's lace, as I kept getting a large white bit of

is made with coarser thread. I

Hi All,
There was a report of some of Margaret Wall's bobbins on eBay several days

bobbins are made by Stuart Johnson and painted by Heather - and I

The Lace Guild often receives gifts and bequests of books on
lacemaking. Usually these duplicate the Guild's own library holdings,
so they are put up for sale to provide funds for new library
purchases. Currently these books are on view at the Guild's HQ, The
Hollies, so only visitors tend to

The bookmarks are selling for $10 - $30 depending on the quality of
the individual item. So you see, a certain amount of education is
going to the bookmark-buyer along with the bookmark. That will make

Sue, and all Arachnes...
I'd like to publish this translation in my Guild newsletter, could you let
me know who translated it so that I might obtain their permission?
Thanks!
