I'm not concerned as well. You probaly may correct, but then i486 and x86:_64 toolchain are AFAIK in a good shape when building all packages - with the only exception of perf.lrp. The master repository is meant for the next major version, and therefor for a given time in a fluent state. Providing a repo that builds and works for most of our targets seems good enough to commit changes.
