I added most of the locations to the USA County Verifier. Census areas should be in the USA County Verifier. How are you entering the location? Don't add "Census Area" or other designation for that area - just enter the name. You can confirm that they're in the USA County Verifier by looking at

I am a glutton for the Census, so I cannot resist sharing the following gem from the U.S. Census Bureau. I find that it answers many of my questions about U.S. Census geography and thus about how I might enter a location. Geographic Areas Reference Manual,

The State of Alaska is divided up into Boroughs for the purposes of local government and administration. This vast area has no local-level government other than that of school districts and municipalities within its limits. Many of the villages do have tribal governments, however. Except within

I'm a glutton for punishment and this topic of a county name for Gustavus was bothering me. So, I picked up the phone and called Gustavus City Hall. The wonderful clerk there reminded me that Alaska does not have counties but rather "boroughs" similar to Louisiana's "parishes". However, Alaska

You could still enter that geographic description in the county area. Even if you decided to leave the county area blank, you should then add a note providing the specific information. You didn't state when your son was married in Alaska but I would assume that it was post Alaskan statehood.

Is there a bug in this area? Or am I doing something wrong? I have a Word document that I wanted to add to Media (source). When I add it, I choose 'document' rather than picture but it just sits there, does nothing at all. Images add just fine. Is that the problem? It needs to be in an image

If it were me, I would use that County field to enter "Hoonah-Angoon Census Area"; the field doesn't have to be used for 'county' specifically. Many countries don't have such a designation. It just gives you a way to record from smallest municipality to largest. If you didn't record it in such

I've had luck saving a Word doc as PDF and then attaching the PDF document as media - document. These are a graphic format, so maybe that's why it works. It opens again. Only thing is, a PDF doc isn't editable (unless you have the full Adobe Acrobat program), so if your document must be editable,

There's a miscellaneous search for people who are married (which appears to include those with partners). If you tagged those found with that search, then those without that tag would be those without a spouse recorded. Then you could add your other criteria. Cathy Jenny M Benson wrote: > > I
