I didn't know about \drummode. I'll try that.
Thanks

Hello all,
I'm trying to typeset a percussion score with several instruments on
the same staff. When they play simultaneous notes I want to line them
up all on the same stem, like this (output attached, percussion1.pdf):
%%
\version "2.24.1"
\new Staff \relative {
\clef "varpercussion"

Works great, thanks.

Hello,
please what is the correct way to draw multiple slurs connected to
each other? Look at example below to see what I mean (result
attached).
The following code does what I want but it gives multiple warnings like these:
Parsing...
slur.ly:4:3: warning: Unattached SlurEvent

Thanks. It says this -- but it works:

Hello, please let me ask two questions on the example below:
1. how can I move the cue treble clef after the bar line?
2. how can I remove the closing bass clef? I tried \omit Staff.Clef
but it doesn't work -- I guess because, indeed, that isn't the *staff*
clef.
Thank you
Gerardo
%%
\compressEmptyMeasures works (also in 2.24.1), thank you.

Thank you.
I'm using 2.24.1 because that is what's shipped with Debian stable. If
there's no way to make it work with this version I'll look into using
a newer version.
Sorry, forgot the attachment.

Hello,
I need to change the time in the middle of a bar.
I managed to do that using \partial, but it seems that after that,
\compressMMRests no longer works -- only for the group of measures
immediately following, then it resumes working normally.
See example below, attaching the output that I
Thank you very much!

Hello,
I'm using Staff.StaffSymbol.line-positions to raise the staff position
in the middle of a line. When the change is at the end of a measure,
the bar line is aligned with the new staff, leaving the old staff
partially "open", that is, the bar line doesn't extend over all the
height of the old
It works, thank you very much!

Hello, is there a way to center note names horizontally around the
corresponding note?
Since I'm using Italian note names they have different lengths, I
believe that centering them would look better.
Example below. The space between "sol" and "la" looks particularly
awkward (too small).
Thank you
Hello all,
source file and compiled output attached. Please forgive me if this
isn't a "tiny example", but I believe I need to show the full thing in
order to communicate clearly what I am trying to do.
