So then what is the point of a paper ballot? From my experience at prior
town meetings, our votes were counted by voice or standing up.

people show up anytime today and check in? Or is there a designated time

The articles as presented in the Warrant are actually not the vote.
Article 1 (correct clerical error) and Article 3 (Oriole Landing) are 'To
see if the Town will vote...' whereas Article 2 (CC) and Article 4 (HCA)
are 'To hear
The way town meeting is now, you have to be present in the room during the
voting to be able to cast your ballot. Voting happens after the debate on
the topic. When the vote is called, the doors will be closed and only those*
present in the **room *are able to cast a ballot.
It would be wonderful
When you check in this am you will be given two ballots. One is for Community
Center ~ Article 2. The other is for Housing Choice Act ~ Article 4. Voting
will take place for each article after the presentation and discussions of each
article. There is no early voting.

time get a ballot and vote? I hope so, because it would allow many people to
have their voices heard.
