Thanks to some help I have found the center. It was Russells in Wayland.
Unfortunately they no longer have the animals. They used to have a couple
of goats on the property and one passed away so they rehomed the lone
goat.
thank you to all that responded. my memory has been slightly refreshed.
No llamas, but seasons four in Lexington has goats you can feed and pet.

reminded us of a garden center that we got a tree at about 15 years ago
that had small farm animals to pet and maybe even a llama or two. This
would have been in the metrowest area.
Anyone remember a place like that?
