Dear friends,, In this town of Lincoln, I am a minority Hindu of Indian descent. Hindu is not a prescriptive religion, it is an empirical belief system of acknowledgement. That our existence is a blessing of myriads of other objects and cosmos is the acknowledgement. I will complete twenty years of my residence in Lincoln next April. I thank you all for being good friends, wise neighbors, loving elders and analytic young professionals. Above all, I thank you all for the deep respect to the ground, to the earth. The ground is the core teacher of Hinduism. We dig it, we tear it and it still blesses us with food and shelter. It's the Mother. Let us continue to respect the ground in our own way.
