Juneteenth Proclamation
At its May 22nd meeting, the Lincoln Select Board reaffirmed Lincoln's
recognition of June 19th as "Juneteenth" in Lincoln. The proclamation shares

I agree with Joanna. If they're outside minding their own business, leave
them be and let them eat the skeeters. Have someone look at your house for
anywhere that bats (and squirrels!) could get inside and close off those
areas.

Did you consider letting the bats stay?
They pose no danger, their population is seriously declining, and they provide
effective mosquito control.
We have had brown bats live under our eaves for decades and we enjoy seeing
them fly over our garden in the evening.
