1. I want to use protocol analyzer for monitoring my network
and I want to know where can I find resources about
how to analyze and how to read to Protocol analyzer results
does any one use or know where to find a good and a beginner oriented
book ,sites ,etc

may I suggest turning them into tec format?
or using vim?

let you define some sort of regular expressions and to check your favorite
sites for updates? I use it at work (windows NT), and it even has some
ready definitions for slashdot, geeknews and a few russian sites, but at
