Be advised that this probably qualifies as non fair-use usage, which is
forbidden in a clause in every unlimited contract I've seen to date (with
Golan and Hot, I admit I haven't checked the more expensive deals of
אפס), and as such, may be grounds for termination of your subscription

By default, it is on.
I'm using org-mode extensively during the last year, and getting Hebrew
support helps with writing recepies and taking care of the home financies.
There are still bugs though, e.g. like the interaction between org-tables
Answering myself:
I found in the document, immediately after the BiDi support
announcement:
New buffer-local variable `bidi-display-reordering'.
To disable display reordering in a buffer, change this to nil.
I suppose it answers my and Nadav's question.
