In particular Tk Open Systems has an immediate need for a lead programmer to
join our staff in Talpiot to work on a project for a European start-up.
Required qualifications are:
1. Demonstrable above average Java/EJB/JSP coding proficiency (fast coder)
2. Several years experience programming Java webapps
3. Familiarity with EJB3, Hibernate, and JBoss or equivalent application server
3. Ability to travel, if necessary, to Europe for short periods
4. Willingness to work relatively long hours (for decent pay)
5. Good references
6. Willing to commit to at least one year on the project
Other skills that would be good to have are good communication skills and the
ability to lead a small team eventually.
This is a proprietary project being developed in a BSD environment.
The application being developed is a science game for children involving
collecting-cards sold at museums, aquariums, zoos and other science-oriented
organizations that have concession stands or stores that sell the cards. The
business also involves a TV program in which children who excel at the card
game are invited to participate. The project is in alpha stage now.
We can work with either freelancers or salaried employees, preferably residents
of Jerusalem or environs.
