I have already used "proxyarp" option in my /etc/ppp/options file, and
its still not working . I will give some more details on my server and
client configuration with hope that it will help .
Problem :I cant reach any host on remote network ,but i can reach the

I install RH6.1 machine for ppp services , when i dial from win98/95 i
get a connection, but when i ping to computer that connected on the
same network as the ppp server I get "request time out" ,i guess that it
involved with routing table

your problem might be that you did not specify the 'proxy arp' option when
starting the ppp daemon on the linux server.
'proxy arp' means that the linux machine will answer ARP requests looking
for the IP

As far as I remember from the last 2.1.x days, proxyarp was removed

I'm trying to set up dial-up ppp server and windows shows me
(after logging in, typing ppp, pressing f7 (to continue connection))
"Can't negotiate a compatible set of network protocols in the Server
Type settings."
How to fix that?
