I get the Gnome keyring prompt in Natty but it only happens with user
accounts where Ubuntu One has been enabled. I didn't get the prompt in
Ubuntu, it started after I switched to Lubuntu using Pure LXDE
instructions [1]. Should I open a new bug or does it have the same root
cause than this bug?

a bit of an odd one. As you know, I'm running the alpha1 one of 11-10 in a
Virtual Machine.
After a clean install of lubuntu 11-10 a1, pidgin is quite happy. However,
after a reboot it fails to connect.
1) browsing still works (Chromium and FFox)
2) x-chat still works
I do not see this

Hi and thanks,
From what you are saying the poor tormented devs need to have a further look
into this.
Sorry guys, but it does appear to be a 'bug', as to if it is Network Manager

If there is anything i can do to assist on tracking it down, please
Might be another reason to switch to Empathy, as it get supported not only

I am also sure that all the team look forward to your continued enjoyment of
lubuntu.

there won't be a second session running and for us it'll mean we've got
loads more support for it. That are my 2c at this
One question.
Does gnome-keyring works properly under LightDM?

Hiyas,
as per what I said - that decision is and should be, with you devs.
We all trust you to make the correct decision on that and will back you up
100%. An easy decision it is not, possibly one of the hardest for 11-10. My
fear, as explained was that it may be too big a requirement for you to

NetworkManager 0.9 changed its API and the version of Pidgin in the
Ubuntu repositories hasn't been updated for this change yet. Pidgin
checks for network connectivity and does not get the expected response
