Letterfull is an iOS game that works really well on the Mac. I have configured
my Numpad commander to do a few things like the magic tap for submitting words
which makes the game a little easier. There is also an iOS game I recently
tried called Words Command Line Jumble that is completely
For Bookshare books, it is possible to rename the XML file to HTM for reading
in Safari. Otherwise, there is Voice Dream Reader for Mac, but I think you have
to purchase a subscription.

Hello,
As the subject says, I would like to know if reviewing/accepting track changes
in Word for Mac is accessible with VoiceOver. I am working with a student who
has been told that Jaws is better for that task, but I'm sure there is a way to
accomplish the same thing on the Mac.
Thank you.
I use Numpad Commander on my Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad.
Interacting is so much easier. Interact with Numpad 9 and uninteract with
Numpad 7.

Hello,
One work around is to paste the link into a plain text document in TextEdit and
then copy it into an email, message, or whatever you need. When you open
TextEdit, press Command-Shift-T to toggle between rich and plain text and vice
versa.

Voice Dream Reader for Mac has a feature to OCR Pdf image files. I forget what
the option is called and in which menu it may be found, but I used it once or
twice.

Make sure that single key navigation is enabled. Press VO-Q to toggle it on.
Otherwise, with QuickNav off, use VO-Command-H to move to the next heading and
add shift to go to the previous heading.

Hello,
I use an app called Rocket for emojis. You type a character sequence followed
by the first few letters of the emoji you need. The app uses the system voice
to read suggested emojis. There is a free version.
Here is the link.

Hello,
I am a bit late to this conversation. My curiosity was piqued though, so I
decided to investigate. Oddly, opening a Docx file in TextEdit retained the
font type, style, and size for body text but not headings. The Docx file also
seems to strip links but retain bulleted lists, although
Hello,
I have also experienced VoiceOver saying "direct touch area" in a couple of
games. Besides turning VO off and back on again, turn your rotor to direct
touch. Then, swipe down and it should say "Direct touch on."

Hi Lucy,
To begin, your Dropbox folder should appear as a regular folder in the Finder.
From the Desktop or any Finder window, press Command-Shift-H to open your Home
folder. Your home or user folder contains other folders including Desktop and
