[mailplaneapp] Mailplane causing UI to hang

Hi! I am using Mailplane for quite a while now, but from today I had to hard shutdown my Mac several times because while using Mailplane the UI started hanging. All programs were still up running but the UI didn't update anymore. I could also move around my windows but got this coloured circle
