out and I have to keep logging back in. I was curious if possibly we
could get mailplane to have a login/password dialog option in the
plugin preference for rapportive in order to prevent this?

On your first screenshot I can see an Undo link to undo you send.
As long as this link is displayed, Mailplane will not close the window.
The undo link normally disappears after about 15 seconds
and Mailplane should then close the window.
