My guess is that your php.ini doesn't load the php_mapscript.so library. There
was a mention somewhere when installing the current update that this doesn't
happen (and you can't dl() it anymore);
so you need to go to the /usr/local/php5cgi/lib directory, and edit php.ini.

We have been showing some boolean information on the map using segments of a
circle, created using vector symbols (of maximum dimension 1 x 1 pixel, and a
size of 10.)
In order to keep sizes and stuff easy, all the vectors are just a quarter of a
circle, and then we scale them up
I have had similar errors in the past, and almost invariably it was a postgis
query error. Follow Jukka's advice - debug 5 for both the map and the layer,
and look in the log.

Looks to me as if you sample image is the result of merging tiled

After aggregation, there is unlikely to be more than about 200 lines
to be rendered, so whether or not they are in the map window shouldn't
