David. I never conflated the two. The Soviets are still around today and
still call themselves Russians. Putin himself is a Soviet agent in charge of
Russia. He is seeking to build Russian influence and control and is attempting
to build influence in Africa much in the way of the Soviets.
Hari, my suspicion is that David is dead. He doesn't show up on any social
media and hasn't for 20 years or so. Nor has his site be updated even after the
Belgium Workers Party took over the contents.
I knew him fairly well when he was a volunteer during the early days of
marxists.org.

(Do you know if he is still alive? His old email addresses have not elicited

In any case, the problem with the site right now as regards Marx - is that it
is far from complete.

I disagree. I recommend Mark Solomon’s book, The Cry Was Unity, about the role
that Lenin, Stalin and the Comintern played in encouraging and supporting the
struggle against colonialism and racism.
