Hi, I'am running one Mediawiki with version 1.6.5. Recently I reinstalled the computer and upgraded from PHP4 to PHP5. Therefore I can upgrade from 1.6.5 to a more actual version of Mediawiki. Can anyone tell me, if I should do it in one step? Or should I install some intermediate version of

I definetely am not the best adviser you could count on since there are lot of experienced users and programmers in this list, but let's go 1. How do I create a template? Does the MediaWiki website include a tutorial of some sort? I assume to create one involves some PHP and XHTML programming

I think we all have had this problem. I tried several extensions but nothing worked until I added captchas with the Confirm Edit extension. This still lets people create new accounts, but they have to solve a captcha. A pain for users but it works.
